A Little History Behind Our Law Firm

The Law Firm was founded by Partners Adolfo II Z. Reyes and Roberto P. Cabrera, III in 1999, then known as The Law Firm of Reyes Cabrera & Associates.  The law firm was established with the ideals of dynamism and excellence, while pursuing integrity, competence and fidelity to the rule of law.  From their previous experiences in private law practice and exposure to different fields of business, the Partners founded the law firm to bring forth their pooled knowledge, expertise and proficiency in the practice of law. In 2008, the firm was subsequently joined by Raymond Roland R. Rojas.  In 2013, Atty. Cabrera had to leave the firm after his appointment as Executive Director and designation as acting Board Member of the Land Transportation Franchise and Regulatory Board.

Today, the Law Firm is known as Reyes Rojas & Associates Law Firm, founded on resources, talents, intelligence and dynamism, not bounded by traditional parameters, constraints and restrictions – a characteristic of being different from conventional firms, while all the partners pursue their common exhilaration – the practice of law. Together, the partners shifted the paradigm of the law profession, without compromising their professional competence and ability to resolve any legal issue brought forth to their charge.

The Partners and Associates of the Law Firm are well-exposed practitioners and acknowledged experts in their respective fields and all branches of Philippine law and jurisprudence, and with wide ranges of correlation with all branches of government.  

The Firm’s office is conveniently located at the Ortigas Business District, Pasig City, from where it serves its clients and corresponds with a wide network of clients and other law offices in key cities of the archipelago and abroad, particularly in the Southeast Asian nations and Latin America.

Profile of Partners

ADOLFO II Z. REYES

Received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the Ateneo de Manila University in 1995, where he graduated in the top 20 of his class, and passed the Philippine Bar Examinations given on the same year, where he ranked among the top 20% of all the examinees. Mr. Reyes received his Bachelor of Science (Major in Business Management) from the same university in 1991. A former Senior Associate of the Law Firm of Tanjuatco, Sta. Maria, Tanjuatco, he has maintained an excellent record on litigation, corporate and labor matters. Mr. Reyes is a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP), The Blue Army and the Aquila Legis Fraternity. Fields of Concentration: Election Law, Airline and Maritime Law, Estate and Succession Law, Insurance Law, Litigation and Corporations.

RAYMOND ROLAND R. ROJAS

Received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law in 2001. A consistent Dean’s Lister throughout his law education, he ranked in the top 20 of his graduating class.
He completed his Bachelor of Science (Major in Legal Management) in the same university in 1997. Mr. Rojas passed the 2001 Philippine Bar Examinations, where he placed No. 23 overall. He was a former Senior Associate at the Poblador, Bautista & Reyes Law Office, where he mastered the practice of labor, litigation and corporate law, among others. Mr. Rojas is a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) and was the former Most Honorable Praeses of the Aquila Legis Fraternity in 2000-01.

JULIO MA. EDMUNDO D. MANINGAT

Received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the Ateneo de Manila University in 2011 and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2012. He completed his Bachelor of Arts (Major in Interdisciplinary Studies) in the same university in 2006. He was a former Department Legislative Liaison Specialist at the Department of National Defense where he worked for over a year. Chibu is a proud member of the Aquila Legis Fraternity and the Integrated Bar of the Philippines. Fields of Concentration: Civil, Criminal, Labor, Litigation.

SARAH MARIA Q. SISON

Completed her Bachelor of Arts Major in Humanities at the Ateneo de Manila University where she also obtained her Juris Doctor degree in 2008. Upon passing the bar in 2009, she commenced litigation practice with the Escudero Marasigan Vallente and E.H. Villareal Lawfirm. She then worked in the Office of the President and the Presidential Communications Development and Strategic Planning Office in Malacañang Palace from 2010 to 2016.
She moved to Geneva, Switzerland for further studies and in 2017 obtained her LL.M in International Dispute Settlement from the Université de Genève and Institut de hautes études internationals et du développement (Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies). In 2018, she obtained her second LL.M in International Arbitration and Dispute Resolution from the National University of Singapore where she was an NUS Center for International Law Merit Scholar. She is a founding member of the Young Philippine Institute of Arbitrators and is currently the VP for International Initiatives of the Philippine Institute of Arbitrators.

JOSEPH O. FRANCISCO

A member of the Philippine Bar and the Aquila Legis Fraternity, Atty. Francisco is a true blue Atenean and consistent honors student throughout his education. He completed his Bachelor of Science Degree in Management, Major in Legal Management in the John Gokongwei School of Management of the Ateneo de Manila University. During his legal studies, he was a member of the Teehankee Center Rule of Law of the Ateneo Law School. Fields of Concentration: Litigation, Labor, Criminal, Intellectual Property, Immigration, Taxation, and Civil Law.

RUFINO SAMUEL III R. MANTOS

Graduated from Ateneo de Manila University for his Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences (Sociology and Anthropology) minor in Cultural Heritage. He obtained his Law degree from Arellano University School of Law and a proud member of the Aquila Legis Fraternity. RS was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2019. He was a former Associate Solicitor in the Office of the Solicitor General and specialized in Litigation, Civil Law, Government Compliance, Administrative Law and Appellate Practice.
